I know many of you were bummed that you couldn’t attend ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas, either because it was too far away or because it isn’t open to the public. For this reason I thought it would be fun to film the new cloth diaper products and print releases during my time there. So, I packed up my gear and went to every cloth diaper booth at the show. This amounted to almost 20 booths, but not every brand was filmed either because they didn’t have a new product/print or I forgot (oops!). Below is the look at every product to get you excited!
There are 13 videos, 1 per company, and they vary in length but average about 1.5 minutes and the entire playlist is 24 minutes. Either watch the videos in the playlist or read below and click each brand to watch their video individually.
bumGenius released 2 new prints in their Artist Series and 2 new prints in their Genius Series. These are available for pre-order from retailers like Kelly’s Closet. They also announced new trim colors in Econobum and an Econobum Newborn Kit with cotton inserts, 2 covers, detergent sample, and stay dry liners that come in a reusable wet bag. New wet bag sizes, and now wool dryer balls. For moms they have light incontinence pads and breast pads available soon.
BlueBerry released 2 new prints that will be available in all of their products. Maragarita also explained why Swaddlebees products are now branded as Blueberry for those who may be confused about this or haven’t heard yet.
Thirsties has big news- a brand new product! Soon you will be able to buy their new One Size Pocket, which is demonstrated by Erin in the video. They also recently announced improved hook and loop.
GroVia has 4 new prints in their line and now have Rock-a-thigh leggings to coordinate. Also, the Newborn All-in-One has been improved.
Applecheeks made their big announcement at ABC Kids Expo for the new Steel Me Limited Edition color, which is a nice grey.
Rumparooz owner Julie showed us their new print, Charlie, which is a fun Chevron in blues, yellow, and grey on white. Available in their entire diaper line and out October 25.
Smart Bottoms has a new newborn AIO with a little umbilical notch that looks promising. Also announced are two new prints, Emerson and Ella, and two new color/snap combos.
Super Undies has a new Cotton Bedwetting pant and new colors.
Happy Heiny’s is back! Yes! The company has two new owners and is working to get back in action at your favorite retailers. New product announced, an All-in-One, and Addie demonstrates this in the video.
imse vimse has a new diaper (a 2 part system) and new prints. These prints are very much in their style but have a more modern look.
Tidy Tots is a new diaper that launched at ABC Kids. 2 part system and a unique way of keeping flushable liners in place without them shifting.
Bummis co-founder Shirley gave us a look at new prints and products from Tots Bots, the new Simply Lite One Size Cover, and an exclusive look at products still in development such as a dual sized cover and insert system, menstrual pads, and more.
Best Bottoms/Planet Wise/ Imagine Baby had several new prints and colors in their lines. Nicki shows them all in the video.
This is a lot of ground to cover in one post! This time of year is always full of new products and prints and now you know why. DDL will be reviewing many of these items, and more, in the months to come. I’ll also have another post up soon about the trip itself and some photos from the show. One thing at a time though. I just edited and uploaded 14 videos in one day… I need a minute before a new post!
