The Green Nursery– You had me at the Home Page.
Your clean, friendly user interface. Your cheerful holiday themed graphics and clearly labeled shopping categories. Your “Diapers Only” site. I can’t believe we haven’t met sooner. Will you marry me?
To say I am impressed by The Green Nursery’s online store would be an understatement. Because I am looking online often I have been to a lot of diaper stores. I’ve found some to be harder to navigate than others. But for some reason TGN’s design speaks to me. It feels natural to browse their store.
The Green Nursery offers cloth diapers and much more. Maybe one of the reasons I love their store so much is that I have 75% of the toys pictured for each of their categories. Wooden play food, check. Wooden stacking rings, check. Plan Toys Drum Set, check. Wooden balance bike, check. Green Toys Garbage Truck, check. Sophie the Giraffe, check and check. I’m not sure it this means I have great taste or they do.
They have an impressive selection of quality toys that makes me want to go shop in their Bloomington brick and mortar store. There is just something about a great independent toy store with way cooler stuff than your local Toys R’ Us.
Other things I love: Baby Registry, Rewards Program for frequent shoppers, and they even have a Wish List feature.
On to the good stuff! The Green Nursery carries a fine selection of cloth diapers and baby carriers. You can either shop via the drop down menu or go to their “Diapers Only” site. There is a category based drop down menu for the baby carriers as well. One of the brands they carry is GroVia, and a lucky DDL reader will win a Grovia mini starter setsponsored by The Green Nursery, which includes two shells (1 Cloud, 1 Surf) and four snap-in soaker pads. The winner can choose the type of closure.
