This past Monday DDL was back with a video review. I know, I know, we went way too long without one! Sweet Iris Designs make a luxurious flat and Lara had a great write-up about her experience with it. Even though flats are often thought of as cheap, there are some flats that are made with luxurious materials thus, costing more.
Whether you’ve been disappointed by the absorbency of average diapers, you want something that feels soft and luxe on your baby, or you want something stretchy that gives you a gorgeous fit even when you’re flat fold and pin job are less than perfect, Snug Bugs are going to be right up your alley. Sweet Iris’ bamboo terry squares are winning raves from moms for their absorbency, durability, trimness and great fit. These have one smooth knit side and one terry side, and pin or Snappi beautifully.
These bamboo viscose diaper flats are available in a generous standard size (around 27.5 inches square, pre-shrunk) or in a small size of about 19 inches.
Don’t be intimidated by flats. Be one of the throngs of moms who tries them and converts! Flats are deceptively easy to master. Try Sweet Iris’ luxury flats and you’ll still pay less than you would with the top cloth diapering brands–and get far better quality components.
These trim-fitting, super-absorbent flats weigh about 8 oz. per *square* yard and are made of 70% viscose from bamboo, 25% organic cotton, and 5% spandex. We have chosen to offer a terry knit fabric, as it stays soft even after months of brutal cloth diaper laundering routines (fleece can get kind of crunchy over time). This is an Oeko Tex certified fabric, tested to ensure it is free from any chemicals or harmful residues. These diapers are register with the Consumer Products Safety Commission, and are labeled in accordance with government regulations for small batch manufacturers. Snug Bug stretch flats are legally protected by a pending patent.
Flats are definitely one of my favorite cloth diapers to use, and definitely my favorite to wash. If you’ve always wanted to try one go on and enter, you never know if you will win! Use the Rafflecopter below. Open to US only. Quick and easy entries on this one!
