Update: This brand no longer exists.
I love to be contacted by companies who want added to my Cloth Diapers Made in the US and Canada list. After Jenny from Posh Pumpkins and I started emailing we decided I should review her One Size All in One- Posh Pumpkins. The Neon color combos really drew me in, not to mention the unique soaker design.
Ease of Use ✩✩✩✩ The Posh Pumpkins OS acts like an All in One since the soakers are always attached. Before putting the diaper onto the baby you’ll need to ensure that the soakers are laying flat since after washing/drying they will have shifted around. The diaper has 4 snaps, 2 on each tab, that need to be snapped when applied to the baby. That is easier than some snapping diapers with snaps farther in on the tab. For sizing the diaper has a 3 Step Rise with 2 Snaps each rise setting (3×2 grid). This only needs to be done when the baby moves to a new size setting.
Bang for the Buck ✩✩✩ This OS is on the higher end of prices at 27.95. The materials used (bamboo), production in the US, and being an AIO make it a bit pricier than others.
Performance ✩✩✩✩ What a cool All in One! I have only seen one other in this concept, where the soakers overlap and are sewn one on each end. The diaper is plenty absorbent for daytime with 6 layeyrs of organic cotton/bamboo for the soakers. Drying time for an AIO is reduced since the soakers do move about and aren’t sewn down. I did not choose to use this diaper overnight since there is a layer of Bamboo over the waterproof hidden layer. I never experienced any wicking during the day but it was more of a possibility at night. Some diapers are just better for days and there is nothing wrong with that.
Fit ✩✩✩ It is not secret that Ev is a plus size baby cloth diaper tester. The Posh Pumpkins fit his waist fine, though he is nearing the end of that allowance but we have a few snaps left. The rise was shorter than I would like, enough that he is on the unsnapped setting completely. It is a possibility that that will work just fine but it would be nice to have a little more room since in many other OS diapers he is on the middle snap setting. The thighs were fine on his chunky legs, a good thing.
Overall: I liked the soft bamboo layer on the outside, and thankfully we never experienced any wicking from that being there. The logo is adorable, one of my favorites for any cloth diaper. The colors are so bright and fun which makes me want to collect them all and add them to a neon cloth diaper drawer; they remind me of growing up as a kid in the 90’s. The mama behind the brand is so awesome so I think everyone should go buy a PP!
