Pooters One Size Fitted Review

I love when random fluffy mail comes by way. This time, it was the new and improved Pooters One Size Fitted. I reviewed the older version many months ago. I was given a sheet with helpful sizing instructions and the differences in the new and old version. This new version more room on the waist and rise but was still affordable at 12.00 dollars.

Ease of Use ✩✩✩ Fitteds can be more time consuming that a regular pocket diaper or All-in-One. Regular readers already know, but I usually only use fitteds for nights. I find them too bulky and less convenient that my Pockets. I do LOVE that the Pooter Fitted cloth diaper has cross over snaps on both sides. Little things that make my life easier make me excited. Sizing is pretty easy, fold over and snap. There are 2 snaps per tab, 4 total, to snap when putting on the diaper. Your soaker will either need to be laid on or snapped in before putting the diaper on. Then you still need to add your cover over the top.

Bang for the Buck ✩✩✩✩✩ This is a steal at 12$ I reviewed the previous version of the Pooters and thought it needed some changes made to the sizing, but the price is great and it works really well. Those cloth diaper users needing a good overnight solution could buy two or three of these and be in great shape.

Performance ✩✩✩✩✩ This is one absorbent diaper! You can buy it in hemp or bamboo. It already comes with an extra lay in booster if you need it, but so far I haven’t had to use it. I don’t have a single thing bad to say about how it works.

Fit ✩✩✩ The first version of the Pooters needed more room in the waist and rise. It did get very small though. Now, it has more room in both areas. Maybe too much. Considering my big guy is on their newborn snap down rise at 20 pounds, and has 3+ snaps left on each side on the waist, plus many inches left in the rise, can either be good or bad. Good for those needing a larger diaper for their big toddlers, bad for the small babies. It may very well fit a smaller, 8 pound baby, but it is going to be very bulky. Luckily babies grow fast. I don’t think I would ever use this on an 8 pound baby. My 20 pound boy fits it great though, and I know he has a lot of wear left in it.

Overall: The Pooters fitted cloth diaper is still one of my favorite fitteds in the price and performance categories. It could be softer, but other than that and my concerns on the sizing, it is a pretty great diaper. I love the WAHM behind them and she is a great advocate for cloth diapers and believes in the product.
