Gerber first broke out beyond baby foods in 1960 and one of their first products was a vinyl baby pant to go over cloth diapers. They’ve added flat cloth diapers and prefold diapers and haven’t changed that line-up since the introduction of the vinyl pant. The products have changed over time and today their prefolds and flats have the reputation as being worthless diapers. If you’re reading this please don’t buy Gerber flats OR Prefolds. They are terrible diapers and only work well as burp rags or flat diapers.
In 2015 Gerber released a new All in One modern cloth diaper, the jury is still out on this product.
