A Tribute to my son, Professional Cloth Diaper Model

I am sad to say the time has come.  My toddler is passing the torch of video cloth diaper modeling to his younger brother.  He first appeared in a video in April 2009.  He was 4.5 months old.  Since then he has been in almost all of my 81 video reviews.  At times I was forced to use a teddy either because he was asleep or because he was in a phase where he refused to be still long enough.  I went through the videos he was in where I could get a good screen shot and compiled those, in order, into a video.  You can watch my son age from 4.5 months up to 2 years old.  You can also look at how many different ways I tried to get him to sit still!

Baby brother is now the official model.  Fletcher isn’t potty trained yet but we are working on it.  I wish his retirement was for that reason!

So cute! Loved seeing all the distractions. My son is definitely in the phase right now where he just needs to be chewing on a toy…I may be referring to this in the future to get him to hold still for diaper changes! 🙂

We have used food, Sophie, random toys/rattles, and the best: iPhones 🙂

  • Awwww! Congrats on your retirement Fletcher!

  • I commend you. I am always amazed by mothers who are on the natural track from their first baby. I didn’t start using cloth diapers until my youngest son was 9 months old. I didn’t start getting proactive in the cloth diaper community until my daughter was almost 7 months old. If we hadn’t moved to such a small military base, I don’t know if I would have done anything at all. If you ever come through NC again and would be interested in guest speaking at our Real Diaper Circle, we would love to have you. 🙂

I would love to! I was lucky to learn about cloth diapering on a mommy message board while pregnant.
